Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our authentic Isamu Noguchi designs.

How can I ensure my Akari light sculpture is authentic?

Every Akari light sculpture sold through our shop is handcrafted in Gifu, Japan, by Ozeki & Co. and features the traditional sun and moon logo, along with the designer's signature on the wooden base or wire frame.

What are your shipping rates for large furniture items?

Shipping rates for heavy or oversized items, such as the Noguchi Coffee Table or large Akari floor lamps, are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. We offer white-glove delivery services for an additional fee.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to most international destinations. Please note that customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees incurred upon arrival in the destination country.

What is your return policy for home goods?

Unused items in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Due to their delicate nature, Akari paper lanterns must be unopened to qualify for a full refund.

Are the Akari lamps compatible with standard LED bulbs?

Yes, Akari lamps are compatible with E26 or E12 base LED bulbs depending on the model. We recommend using warm-toned LEDs to maintain the soft, natural glow intended by Isamu Noguchi.

How do I care for my Noguchi furniture?

For wood and glass surfaces, use a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. For Akari paper lamps, gently dust with a dry microfiber cloth or a soft brush to avoid tearing the washi paper.
